Trimble SNR93x GNSS Radio for Connected Machine Control
Reliable, Easy-To-Use Base Station Solution
Reliable machine control depends on consistent communication between your base station and field equipment. The Trimble SNR93x GNSS radio series delivers license-free, jobsite-proven connectivity that keeps RTK corrections flowing to graders, dozers and excavators across your worksite. Built for the conditions construction crews face daily, SNR93x radios handle dust, vibration, temperature extremes and interference without dropping signal.
Reliable GNSS Radio Communication for Field Crews
The SNR93x operates in the 900 MHz ISM band, providing stable communication across typical construction distances without licensing fees or frequency coordination. These radios have an IP67 environmental rating and operate from -40° Fahrenheit to 158° Fahrenheit (-40° Celsius to 70° Celsius). They function in the conditions your equipment encounters — whether you're grading in summer heat or working through cold-weather pours.
Depending on the terrain and antenna placement, SNR93x radios maintain RTK correction links over distances of three to five kilometers. That range covers most grading operations, utility installations and site development projects without requiring repeaters or additional infrastructure.
Trimble SNR93x Radio Features for Jobsite Connectivity
SNR93x radios integrate directly with Trimble GCS900 grade control systems and support the two-way data exchange that powers Connected Site workflows. Standard features include:
- License-free operation: The 900 MHz ISM band requires no FCC licensing or ongoing fees in North America.
- Dual-voltage compatibility: 12V and 24V power options match your existing machine's electrical systems.
- Field-ready durability: IP67 sealing protects against dust intrusion and water immersion.
- Multi-radio support: The SNR934 model adds 2.4 GHz capability for UTS connectivity and higher data throughput when needed.
How the SNR93x Helps Keep Machine Control Data Moving
SNR93x radios do more than transmit RTK corrections — they enable the real-time data flow that connects your base station, rovers, and office systems:
- RTK correction broadcast: Your base station radio sends centimeter-accurate position corrections to every machine on the jobsite.
- Two-way communication: Connected Site features rely on radios that support bidirectional data, letting you monitor machine activity, update design files, and track productivity from the office.
- Interference resilience: Frequency-hopping spread spectrum technology maintains connections even in electrically noisy environments near power lines, cell towers, or urban infrastructure.
- Simple integration: SNR93x radios connect to Trimble receivers and controllers without custom configuration or proprietary adapters.
